And I don't actually know how long he can go without getting really sick. If he goes a couple days, he starts drinking water like crazy and pissing like a fire hydrant. Which is one of the things that causes some people to take their cats to the vet and leads to diagnosis. But we haven't had any problems with the neuropathy in his legs, so that's cool. We've gone on a couple weekend trips since he was diagnosed. And at one point, we just plain didn't have the $30 for insulin when he ran out, so he ended up going for about a week before we hit a payday and could buy him some more. I wish they made them for cats. It would make our life so much easier. It's such a hassle to even think about taking a trip out of town because it means he isn't going to get his shots.
