Hey Bungalow Bill, what did you kill?
O hai, guys, long time no update. Why is it every time I go forever without updating, I come back with a new site layout? I’m just ridiculous like that, what can I say.
In case you’re wondering what I’ve been up to, it’s obviously a whole lot of nothing productive. I’m still reading like a crazy person. Sometimes it’s the only thing I do all day. I’m over half done with the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter books. Just ordered the last four I don’t have yet on Amazon tonight.
I’m a cheap ass and always go for free-super-shipper-savings, whatever they call it. So my books will take a week or more to get here. Hopefully I can make the remaining book and a half last until then.
What else have I been doing since my last update in mid-May? Seriously? Nothing besides work. And sadly, I rather like it that way. Doing stuff after I have to work all day tires me out, and annoys me. I don’t understand how normal people can have kids and clean and well, function at all after working all day. I think I have a limit on how many annoying things I can do in one day.
Not that the actual work at my job is annoying (I rather like it actually, so much so that I do similar things in my free time). It’s the getting up early and sitting in the same chair all day that drains me. Stupid that sitting all day can be so damn exhausting.
For those of you who have been around a while, remember last summer when I kept complaining about the air conditioner at our office breaking? Well, summer has hit and the AC is struggling once more. One day it was completely dead. Then it came back, but it’s still dying out in the afternoons.
Honestly. What is it about this building that eats the air conditioning unit? Is it faulty building design/construction? Or did they just choose the most cheap shit system on the face of the earth? Lord knows.
Though actually, I wouldn’t mind so bad if it just farted out for about a week; because they’d let us go home. And that would be sweet.
Oh yeah, if you’re bored, check out the “interesting reads” block at the bottom of my home page. It’s my shared items in my Google feed reader. Mostly, it’s stupid shit that entertains me during work.
Okay, that’s all I can think of to say right now. I’m going to try to update more often, when I actually have something interesting to say, perhaps. On a closing note, does anybody have any good music they would recommend? Apparently I’m bored to death of my music collection because I’ve been skipping through my playlist like mad lately.

First and foremost, I must say that your new layout kicks some serious ass. But I’m sure you know that- being ruler of all things graphic. XD I must admit that I liked the other equally as much! I would frequent your page just to stare and awe at it at times. Now I have new eye candy. XD Ewww! In your recent blog, I must admit that I have NO idea how mothers work, clean and play the daily routine of “mommy” at home. I thought the entry was an amusing read. Just for the record; a few days ago I tried to picture my self with child for a day because my husband and I are indeed ‘knocking on 30′s door’ and my family and his, keeps asking us the ‘BIG question’. Well…let me just say that the picture dwindled quickly when I found my ass never leaving my computer chair for the entire day. LMAO! I couldn’t imagine having to get up to get a bottle from the fridge!

I do the mommy and full time job thing – but TRUST me the housework gets lost… Sometimes the hosue stays clean, and sometimes it looks like a tornado ran thru my house – mostly when Im sick (like now)

I know that after work, my mother bitches and whines. That seems to make her feel better after all that. And makes empty threats.

As far as music suggestions goes, I like Panic at the Disco’s new album. Skipping over a few songs that are too close to country for me, the album is pretty good. It’s happy music. Although I’m very addicted to Nightwish and Within Temptation atm. Mainly Within Temptation…. really love their stuff.
Haha, yeah, I would bitch a lot too. I just finished a round of apartment cleaning. It was not fun.
And I very much love Panic’s new album. I actually like it better than the first one. ^^ Never heard of Nightwish or With Temptation, so I’ll have to check them out!

Music I’d recommend…hm…. I have quite a few bands I’m hooked on at the moment…. My coworker, Adam, is completely and insanely OBSESSED with this band called the Chiodos. They have a new album out called ‘Bone Palace Ballet’ and I bought it just for kicks. The lead singer has an AMAZING voice, the vocal range makes me melt. =P And if you really like Panic! at the Disco (reply to Sam’s comment) then you should enjoy this band.
Also, this band called ‘Breaking Benjamin’ is amazing! I listen to their music almost everyday in the office. Their album ‘Phobia’ is great. A few songs that I’m in love with are, Until the End, Breath, Evil Angel, Had Enough, Diary of Jane (that’s probably my favourite) and Dance with the Devil. Practically the whole album, huh? I know, they have so many great hits, it makes me sick!
Hopefully, you’ll enjoy them! I look forward to read more Life’s Mystery!
Oops! I forgot to mention- Diary of Jane has an acoustic version and I think it may be better than the original. Cheers!

i havent been around here in megadecades…but im loving the look and as we speak or rather type, looking back at old blog entries, in attempt to catch up!
as for music, my number one, you must have to check out recomendation is Tegan and Sara. They’re absolutely amazing…I normally dont go for female vocals and accoustic guitar but they add in other elements to their music which keeps it interesting, as well as the catchy lyrics and tunes that get stuck in your head. Their newest album, The Con, is wonderfull. Enjoy.
