Yawn, shmawn
Ugh. I am so burnt out from work right now. Well, not so much the work as the getting up early and sitting in the office for eight hours. God, that just doesn’t get any easier. Actually, it gets harder. And I’m only 27, so how horrible is this going to be in 20 years?
Sigh. I want a vacation. One that doesn’t end.
Yawn. I think my WordPress stopped emailing me about new comments on here, so there were some from a while back that I didn’t see until today. Whoops. Well, I’ll just respond here: thanks for the comments; I’m glad others are excited about Sims 3 like me.
I haven’t been able to play Sims 2 a whole lot lately because of work, and last time I played I managed to bore myself; I think because I was at a stage where I have lots of children in various families that I want to grow up together, but it takes forever because they’re on different lots. And this got me to thinking that I will really enjoy the simultaneous aging feature they’ve mentioned for Sims 3. I would just love the option for some of my families to just coast along while I play my main family. Trying to keep up with 3 or 4 side families that only exist to add flavor to my main family is such a pain sometimes. In fact, it is the reason I stopped playing my Tomato family from last summer.
I don’t think I’d always want all the sims to age without my playing them; however, I can’t imagine this feature working without it being optional–like free will. Lots of people are getting their panties in a bunch about this simultaneous aging feature, but I don’t think it will be so extreme.
But, I could be wrong.
How is it not the weekend yet? Last weekend wasn’t much of a weekend for me because I had to work. I have to work this weekend as well, but I don’t think it will be quite so much. Hopefully I will be able to get back into my Flounder family, and send generation 5, Calvin, to Uni. All previous generations went to Academie Le Tour (I don’t even remember is this is the proper spelling–eh, I’ll look it up later), but Calvin has decided to go to La Fiesta Tech. Along with about 7 other kids–his cousin, Molly’s son, I think his name is Billy, Tiki the alien’s daughters, Tiki’s sister, Tina’s twins, and also his girlfriend, a surprisingly cute townie I aged with him since childhood. I forget her name. And lots of the others’ names. This is what happens when I don’t get to play much.
Okay, time to cut my babbling short. Lunch.

Yeah, I know what you mean. That’s how i feel about school. Especially algebra.
I’ve Defiantly Missed Sims 2 Pictures From You Jaclyn! It’s Understandable About Work Though! That’s How It’s Been For Me The Last Few Days It Seems! Hopefully, Things Will Slow Down For You Again! Hope You Have An Awesome Weekend Jaclyn! Take Care!^_^

well, I’m off to try to sim some more and hope my game doesn’t crash from calling a neighbor
I guess I will never find out how your story ends.. sounds like you barely have time to play much less write – like I have much room to talk.. I started a story. I thought it was cool. Gave it to someone to read – no response and it’s been a month – guess it was too boring. I don’t have much of an imagination IMO. It’s hard to get my head out of the box, but I feel like I have skill at writing descriptively and my gammar and spelling and vocab are pretty good – I can’t stand those stories on the exchange where you find 5 grammar and spelling errors on the first page..
TS2 Freetime I think gives people the options to let sims from other lots grow up with your main family. That could help solve your problem with playing with so many sim families.
Yep, but it’s only for townies as far as I can see. But, I definitely love that they have it for townies–finally I can make use of some of those kids!!
AshSweetlady — I’ll finish it eventually, I promise. I’ve just got to do it before Sims 3 comes out. Haha. ^__^
