Donny, please.

I very much need to respond to comments on the last entry as well as respond to some email questions. I will get to them eventually, I promise. In the meantime, I want to rant.

Rant about what, you ask?

Sims2.com guest-book signers, that’s what. I would love to know just how it is possible to actually read my stories and yet miss all the times I’ve said to come to my website for a big list of custom content sites. Or how they can miss when I say that, No, I will not upload my characters to the exchange, but they are in fact available on my website.

Jesus Christ. I love you for reading my stories, I honestly do, but I just cannot help you if you don’t pay attention to things I try to make so plainly obvious. It’s kind of like when people ask questions to things that can so easily be found on Google, like unit conversions or something. Really, it is not rocket surgery. (This is not to discourage those of you asking normal questions. It’s just these repeaters on my guest-book that make me run in crazy circles. Actually, it’s these people that made me shut off my guest-book last time. But I’m trying to focus on all the great messages instead.)

Moving on. I have not yet started Chapter 9, nor have I opened my Sims 2 game since releasing chapters 7 and 8 still. So nothing new there, and there won’t be until after the new year.

I freaked out yesterday because I realized I only have one week until I start my holidays, during which I’ll be in either Dallas or Houston through the new year visiting my family and Andy’s. Have I Christmas shopped yet? Of course not!

Stupid? Oh yes, very. But then I calmed myself later in the evening (starting around the time I should have gone to bed) when Andy introduced me to Facebook’s Flixster Application and I became beyond obsessed and stayed up after two in the morning rating movies. If you can name what movie this post’s title came from, you’ll be extra awesome in my book.

I totally understand what you mean about the guestbook signings! Nothing irritates me more then someone that asks the same question over and over again when you put a clear explanation to something. I’ve had that happen to me a lot in the past when I had stories out. Someone would always ask me where I got something when I just got done saying at the end of the story where I get my CC. Just makes you want to tear your hair out don’t it? lol. As for your title I unfortunately have know idea what movie it could be from. Maybe Donny Brosco or something like that.

Hope you have an awesome Friday tomorrow Jaclyn & also a great upcoming weekend! Take care of yourself!^_^

Of course, once again, people don’t ask me about questions. But I want to punch people in the face when I sign someone’s guestbook and I look at it to make sure I spelled things right and it’s always stupid questions.
Or when I look at my friend’s stories; example, Asims with TGP, I was looking at my entry and it was like, I wanted to read TGP but SOMEBODY didn’t upload the first one grrrr. It’s like, you’re a dumbass. Just because she didn’t abbreviate the first one…oh people of the world, how God must smile upon them all.
Do I comment too much on this site anymore?

LOL, oh I know Celeste—how do they miss that last slide!? Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Marie, haha, yeah, it’s hard not to get flustered reading other guestbook signings sometimes. But, I will say, at least Sims 2 guestbooks aren’t like You Tube comments. At least they better than those. At least that’s what I tell myself to keep sane. ^__^

Jackie: Heh, I don’t mind if people ask, as long as they recognize they are in fact on my website. It’s the ignoring my notices about it that get to me I suppose. But anyway, I won’t upload my characters to the exchange for a couple reasons—a main one being I don’t want to run into issues with Sims that require realistic skin tones that are banned on the exchange. Another reason being that I don’t want my Sims “rated.” ^^ But try and follow the instructions on my Goodies page about using WinRAR! It’s really easy once you get the hang of it. If you come by the forum, someone might be able to help further.
